Kailashnath Mahadev Statue is the world's tallest Lord Shiva Statue. It is 44 meters high and is situated on a hill 20 kilometers from Kathmandu. The construction of the statue began in 2004 and was completed in 2011. The statue is made of copper, cement, zinc and steel.
The new attraction is contributing to the development of the community, people are earning more thanks to the tourism around the statue.
For bikers: This visit can be combined with the Bhumlu trip, Namo Buddha trip and if wanted with the Kodari trip. This hill overlooks fields and farmlands and the highway leading to it is fairly good.
