Then I would have thought twice. No kidding about the craziness of traffic but beside that, it was just wonderful. For the full article

Gionni stracini:
I got to the website www.nepalhomestay.eu and got to know Rene. Thanks to him I got two in one. A motorbike trip and a homestay experience. We went by Motorbike to the village house. Everything is there in such a ride, from nice highways to rough offroads. From snowcapped peaks to rivers. Adventure, beauty, name it and you'll get it, that's exactly what I got. Just from begin to end the best ofI could wish for.
Get on with it rene. ciao.

Birgit: crazy
What a crazy tour it was.The motorbike broke down in the middle of nowhere, but thanks to the experience of Rene we got out of this pretty fast out of this situation. He know's all the workshops along the way. So we could get on with our journey soon after, Happily because the best had yet to come. In infrastructure as well as in scenery. We had a great time together which I hope to do all over again in the future.

Hans Graulich: Hell of a ride
On a cold February day I took off for a ride. After the motorcycle was perfectly delivered at my doorstep, the hotel. Service is nothing strange for rene. A brief explanation of things and some last minute info which could be of any use and I was on my way. The crowded roads of ktm were kinda hard to get through but as soon as I got out of it, It was fabulous. Clear blue sky, snow covered peaks. Great places to have lunch and enjoy a beer. I took a ride to the Tibetan border. Small village but nevertheless very interesting place to hang out. It was one hell of a journey, waterfalls along the road. Cargo trucks ferrying Chinese goods and me, all part of the whole scenery and happenings. I'm glad I took the decision for a motorcycle experience in Nepal. Wouldn't wanna miss it.
Cheers Rene.

Steve Walters: Amazing time
It al started with a visit to motortoursnepal.com and request for info. Rene gave me all kinds of help. From making a schedule to calling hotels, all kinds of help and he even drove me out of town. It wasn't only about renting a bike and getting paid for, but he was there with care and interested in me as a person. A comfortable feeling.
That the journey was an amazing one, was of course another pleasant thing. The monsoon couldn't stop the joy.
Thanks Rene!

Tim Oostenbrink: Accident
Rene,
Thanks for everything. Although it didn't go as planned, I did enjoy the ride for as far as I did ride...And I do have to say, the healthcare is quite good there! Roads are crazy and fun from time to time. Especially by entering or exit. The city of Kathmandu is crazy from time to time. I wish you well and hope to see you soon again!
Next time we better go riding together. Driving alone is obviously a dangerous hobby.
Greetings
Tim Oostenbrink from the netherlands.

Kevin Streef:a little passenger
As I wasn't in a position to ride myself, I took the opportunity to get myself transported by Rene on a motorcycle. Without any regret I have to admit. A weekend to places just outside ktm, non touristic and therefore more peaceful. Thanks to this opportunity I had a couple of special days which i couldn't have had in any other way.
Great time having fun together!

Thieuke: Amazing Time
I can only say that I had an amazing time and I have Rene to thank for that because he knows Nepal.
Being there for over 6 years has certainly made sure that he knows various ins and outs about Nepal, concerning customs, sightseeing, culture, food and what have you not. I got to know Nepal as a visitor, not as a tourist.
The bike-trips were great and made that there were close to no limits to getting around.
Kathmandu plus valley, Pokhara plus view on Annapurna-range..

Tero Laaksonen: Great Touring
Hi Rene.
I had a nice time with you while driving motorbikes around kathmandu valley, Nagarkot and Namo Buddha. Next time we go to Pokhara, sorry this time I did not have enough time for that. It was a crazy traffic but I was in good hands... Thank you a lot and see you next time. Thanks also to Tom, Jerry and San Miguel.

Shirley: Chicken
A chicken as I can be, after a few years of experience travelling Nepal I was searching for something new. I wanted to see the places, not many tourists go. Meeting the real locals, etc.
Than I met Rene, a dutch guy my age, riding a motorbike. He invited me to travel on the back, showing me all kinds of different places in Nepal, around Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Just what I was looking for! I never sat on such a thing before in my life and at first I hesitated. But he convinced me it would be safe, he would drive carefully, so...I went with him.
WOW! This was GREAT!
The feeling of freedom on the back of this motorbike...
Going anywhere you want...
Passing through the biggest traffic jams...just like that...
Everybody watching us...
Especially the Nepali....
Having a blond hair woman on the back of his bike...
Many eyes staring at my butt...hahaha
Meeting locals who are so very kind and ...
Their hospitality is amazing...
So this was such a great adventure. I was thinking: Why didn't I do this long time before? So much better than sitting in a taxi or bus....
I have seen places I didn't even know they existed, even though I had been to Nepal many time before already.
It was great and I hope to do the same this year again!
Thank you Rene, for inviting me. Showing me lovely places, telling me lots of stories about the real Nepal, the good and the bad things that happen there....
You made me feel not "just a tourist"...
